Personal Care Services
Personal Care Services are medically-oriented activities or tasks. They are ordered by a physician and provided according to a nursing plan of care. Individuals may benefit from personal care services when assistance is required with activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, or transferring in and out of bed. These services are provided in the home. Individuals receiving personal care services are able to be treated by a physician as an outpatient rather than in an institution. Our personal care services are provided by trained personnel who are supervised by a registered nurse.

Homemaker services are medically-oriented activities necessary to the long-term maintenance of health and safety. They are ordered by a physician and provided according to a nursing plan of care. Individuals may benefit from homemaker services when assistance is required with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring, and other activities. Homemaker services include personal care services, as well as meal preparation, shopping for personal items, medication management, money management, and light housework.
