Preston County Senior Citizens, Inc. hosts many fun events throughout the year, as well as several enjoyable and fascinating trips throughout the local area and beyond. Our members enjoy socializing, meeting new people, and exploring together as a group. Several events and trips are also open to the general public. TRIPS

TREK Trips

Our TREK (Transportation, Recreation, Entertainment, and Knowledge) Trips are open to everyone. These fun, theme-oriented excursions are entertaining and enjoyable for all ages. Explore attractions throughout the area – and let us do the driving! Most trips include options for dining and shopping, as well. When we travel as a group, we can often benefit from special group pricing!

Past TREK Trips have included excursions to Mountain Stage, Country Christmas at Sagebrush Round Up, and many other great venues. Trips are normally offered from April through November.

EVENTS

Fall Fest Picnic

Our annual Fall Fest in October is a celebration of the season with plenty of good food, fellowship, and wonderful entertainment. There will be opportunities to win prizes, as well. Bring a covered dish to share and join us at the Craig Civic Center! Stay tuned for this year’s date.

Spring Fling Picnic

Kick winter to the curb and celebrate the warmer weather with family, friends, and neighbors from all of Preston County at our annual Spring Fling Event this May. There will be plenty of wonderful food, fun, and fellowship at the Craig Civic Center. Don’t forget to bring your favorite covered dish – and your dancing shoes! Stay tuned for this year’s date.

Annual 25 Days of Christmas Fundraiser

Each year, Preston County Senior Citizens, Inc. works with the communities we serve to help raise money to provide many life quality-enhancing services to our local seniors. Community members can purchase a $10 ticket to win great prizes donated by individuals and businesses throughout the region. Past prizes have included handmade quilts, gift baskets, Adirondack chairs, cash prizes, gift certificates, wreaths, handmade crafts, and much more.
